Bath Gallery

Bath Remodel Trends….Outdated, oversized tubs are being replaced with beautiful, luxurious walk-in showers that offer greater comfort, accessibility for aging in place and just beautiful space.

The gorgeous free standing tub is still a winner surrounded by a whole ambiance of the bathroom retreat vibe.

Generally bathroom remodels seem to be “the thing” right now. It’s a good sign of people making time for themselves, a little mini luxury in a busy day.

The infamous giant jacuzzi tub that no one can fill with hot water anymore.. taking up space in this well intentioned but structurally unsound “greenhouse”…
New walk in shower in the “greenhouse” with skyights and reeded glass windows for light and privacy from adjacent golf course.
The “before” shower… wow. Words cannot desribe the wonder of Why did someone do this!
A complicated corner with mirrors trying to make the space look bigger .. unsuccesfully. The box on the ceiling is a heating duct that in theory.. could not be moved. Hmmm…. let’s see about that.
Yes, this view is looking the same direction in the room that did not change footprint! Tall window is the same.. New CURVED light shelf soffit is the creative solution to the heating duct!
Moving the door in the bathroom allowed for not only this great wave  shower but a dressing room area! Thinking outside of the box, no matter how small the parameters, is the name of the creative game.
Look familar? Maybe not the blue.. but Oh that light box and square tiles .. many a bathroom looks like this and cries out for a remodel!
Same shot from the door.. footprint the same but the ambiance has completely changed.
Tons of storage in this big vanity allows for the trade of top drawers for a beautiful thick slab front edge. Drama factor while still functional.
Ah, the details of the past. .. wood trim around tile backsplash?! Wood trim around tile counter.. what were they thinking?! And of course that completely unecessary dropped light fixture… strange days indeed.
Walnut beauty.
Corner detail
Before photos are so much fun. The wall paper, the dropped light box.. the terrible idea of tile countertops. Forget Calgon, Studio 516 take me away!
The same window.. open up the space and ditch the tub.. introduce a beach theme vibe and Viola! Transformation complete.
Looking the other direction, a full wall of unique 2×20 tiles, a specialty fun mirror, extra touch of a fun pendant topped off by a custom plexi glass panel in skylight well for art and flair!
The narrow “hall” of a bathroom before; crowded and odd with dropped light fixture soffits and ceilings…
After view, facing the same way as the first before photo. The window is behind the frosted glass door in a private toilet room. The bath is opened up to a luxurious space with huge free standing tub, ceiling water filler (yes, water drops from the ceiling to fill the tub) and a waterfall feature for tropical ambiance.
View facing the other direction.. open shower with bamboo reed tiles and marble accents, pebbles tiles and bubble lighting. Taller second vanity area for stand up make up area in the distance.
Maximizing space with mirror
Shifting ambiance with  accent tile in bath wall alcove and individual mirrors for more isolated effect.
Dew Drop In photography by Iusi Images. Welcome to the bath, enjoy the orchid.
Bold full wall Japanese tile in what a rich red.
Bold fields of color and slab, surrounded with an almost monochromatic setting says powerful relaxation is in order.
Dew Drop In. Yes, there is a robe waiting for you.
Open shower with large linear bench
Blurring the lines between shower and bathroom helps a smaller space feel very luxurious.
And yes a bath tub!  Compact but deep and comfortable with a window at just the right spot for a view and a ledge for just the right tub treat.. tea or tonic, whatever is your pleasure!
The basic vanity.. you’ve seen it a million times, maybe at your own house. It’s fine.. but.. it certainly could use a personality upgrade.
The usual built in shower tub with a new flair! Fun deco tiles and bold accents help jazz up this small space.
Think outside the box for mirrors.. a great opportunity for fun like this round example.
A bath entry before.. right off the entry (dramam red door) .. without much follow through. Welcome to my wall heater.
Wait a minute.. now we are talking! Welcome to my giant walk in slab shower!
Conceptual visualization.. smaller vanity, flip toilet location and open up tub and shower area for a walk in shower and real bath tub.
Before.. an over sized vanity and cubby hole standard tub shower.. Owner says please.. give me a free standing tub in here with some soothing ambiance. Bye bye turqoise. Hello relaxation.
Conceptual rendering of smaller vanity, still with drama of waterfall edge but space opens for bathing and relaxing.
And it works!  (Remember the red door from the before?!)
